In the space of two hours, two of my rats have died, leaving the last one, Stan, to wander about the cage bewildered and wondering where his brothers have went.

Okay, so I came across the poster for the movie adaption of The Plague Dogs.

WHY DOES IT LOOK SO GODDAMN INNOCENT. WHY.

At least the Watership Down poster had the good grace to have a blurb that's basically about how BUNNIES GONNA DIE IN THIS FILM, and to show a rabbit in agony due to being snared right there on the poster. The Plague Dogs one looks practically Disneyesque. (Whereas the actual film was not quite that cute and friendly. Think Watership Down with less of the acid flashback sequences, PLUS A REALLY FUCKING DOWNER ENDING.)

In totally unrelated news, I just found a box of what appears to be instant miso soup (miso Cup-A-Soup?) in with the rest of my shopping. I guess it fell into my trolley when I was browsing the Japanese food aisle in curiosity (I'm slightly disturbed at the fact that the japanese apparently pickle plums in SALT. But at least I know where to go if I want to make sushi now, because they even had special sushi-making rice!). But I don't even know if I LIKE miso soup... Though it could be worse and it could've been the "with seaweed" version (I know for a fact that I do not like most types of seaweed, except maybe nori which I can tolerate).

...Eh, I'll just take a sachet with me to work today and see if it works out. If so, then yay. If not, eh, I can foist the other three packets onto family members and friends. >_> *is a terrible person*

I had an insane and kinda-awesome crackfic dream last night involving some of my OCs and a bunch of characters from different fandoms.

In which Cid Highwind was a Time Lord and that all the other FF-Cids were his previous regenerations. His Tardis was the Highwind itself. (One of my characters was also a Time Lord but explaining that would involve a lot of character backstory and OMG COMIC SPOILERS, so it shan't be divulged.) I don't even know WHY my subconcious was on Time Lords, as I don't watch Doctor Who. XD

Also, N.Gin had been kidnapped by space robot creatures and they were failing in brainwashing him because of the missile in his head. Plus there was something about trekking into a swamp to fight some monster, which I think was partially inspired by this now I think about it.

Okay, my thoughts on the voices:
-DUDE, THAT NARRATORVOICE IS ALL KINDS OF WRONG. D8
-Keroro is pretty good, actually.
-Fuyuki is ASH FUKKEN KETCHUM. It works really well for him, but still... TEAM ROCKET IS AFTER HIS KEROCHU. XDXDXDXDDDDD
-Natsumi is TOO DITZY SOUNDING. D: YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!
-WHAT THE FUCK DID THEY DO TO KURURU?! I REPEAT, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!... though actually... I kind of expected dubbers to give him a voice like that. D:
-Tamama sounds way too much like Keroro, but is pretty good other than that.
-Mois is pretty good, but mind you I didn't see too much of her.
-Giroro's... eh, he's okay, I think. I think I've heard his dub voice before somewhere.
-Dororo sounds older than I expected, but it kind of works for him. The attitude is spot on, though... Koyuki is good, too.
-Saburo sounds too young for my liking.

Dog got put down this morning.

....Yep, crying like a small child. Thought so.

So our dog, with her wheeziness and her sudden lack of mobility and her Really Fucking Old-ness, is getting taken to the vet on Tuesday. Probably to be put down.

...I'm not all that sad just yet. Possibly because it hasn't sunk in yet, or possibly because she's like twelve (which is a pretty good age for a greyhoundy-whippety-lurchery-type dog) and it doesn't really surprise me.

Oh, and I saw The Dark Knight yesterday, but I don't really think right in the middle of an semi-emo entry like this a good time to talk about it. :D
